GigCost Beta — Privacy Policy

We designed this initial beta to work without an account or personal profile.

What the calculator collects

The four entries (vehicle year, make, model and odometer mileage) are processed in your browser to display an estimate. The beta calculator does not submit these entries to our website server and does not create a user account.

Website requests and logs

Like most websites, the hosting provider may automatically receive information when you load a page, including your IP address, date and time of access, browser and technical request details. The site may request a public energy-price file from the hosting provider. Those file requests do not include the vehicle entries you type.

Analytics, advertisements and cookies

This beta build does not intentionally include advertising networks, analytics scripts, marketing cookies, or tracking pixels. If these practices change, this policy will need to be updated before they are introduced.

When you contact us

If you click a feedback email link, your email application prepares a message. No message is sent until you send it yourself. Any email and details you voluntarily include are handled by your email provider and received in our inbox, where we may use them to respond or investigate issues. Please don't send sensitive personal or financial information.
